The Meaning Behind #BringingTheJoy

You may have noticed that at the end of my first post I hash tagged the phrase 'bringing the joy'. Does it have any meaning?

Bringing the Joy was the name of an amateur blog that I created in 2016 - the very place where my previous posts on this new site are derived from. I created the blog for the same reason as this one: to help myself find the flakes of positivity floating in the spaces of negativity, no matter the size. I wanted to somehow spread this positivity as I found it. Eventually I lost my initial excitement for the blog, and it got lost in a pile of other uncompleted projects of mine. Since then I have continued to seek the positives in each day and would love to continue to do so on this new blog.

It really is as simple as this: my middle name is Joy. I wanted the original name to reflect me as a person and what better way that to use my personality, mission and my name simultaneously!
